We as women do tend to sacrifice everything, including ourselves for our loved ones. I think it’s in our nature and so we do have to take the initiative to bring balance to our lives. Our passion does get us in over our heads sometimes. But you are so right to point out, that we really must look out for ourselves too!
Take time to listen to your inner voice and you can’t be led astray!

I hear you…”Balance” has been always my husband and I are striving for, otherwise we wouldn’t survive 12-year marriage in relocating 3 continents. Haha.
Have that said in our former corporate executive life, we saw so many ladies/women didn’t set their priority right, it ended up sacrifice their won marriage while they tried their best to provide for their children and family. That;s was why in our women outreach program (in our home church though) said “Beautiful. Bold. Balanced” is the measurement stick for ladies.
So, Sye, thank you for pulling out your heart to deliver the message!

At first, choosing my path and starting my business was definitely about taking control of my own life, to be home with my young kids and create a better lifestyle for us all. But as a flourished as an online entrepreneur, it became more and more about passion and inspiration. I have been fortunate to have a very supportive husband, and I think he truly sees the passion and love I put in my business, and in empowering others. To me, it’s not about being a superwoman, but rather about realising my absolute potential and achieving my most ambitious goals, as a mother, wife, friend and entrepreneur too!

wow Sye you have no idea how much I resonate with exactly what you are saying here in this video. I knew you were going to say that it was “late at night” I could tell by the way you were talking
That’s what I do to, even though people can’t here me!
I am going through this right now, trying to juggle being a mum, wife, entrepreneur who is driven beyond belief… things are tough let me tell you.
But you know it gets to the point where something has to give. First and foremost my husband and I have date night every Monday night and I do things with my kids ALL the time because that is why I work from home, so I can dictate my life and control it on my terms. Once I am happy and content doing those things with my family believe it or not everything seems to work out just fine! Some times I lose my head… but don’t we all.
