You are always making promises to yourself. Whether good or bad, you do this all day long. Sometimes consciously, most times unconsciously.
I know you would not be here on this page if you didn’t have big dreams and know that anything is possible. So this I am sharing with you, as you to continue live your life happily, abundantly…. ON PURPOSE.
Enjoy and as always, great information is meant to be share, so just click one of the links below to share with the people you care most about on Facebook or Twitter.
So here we go!
Almost one hundred years ago, positive living writer and lecturer Christian D. Larson published what he called “The Optimist Creed” in the book “Your Forces and How to Use Them.” Further, Optimist International adopted it in 1922.
The words are as powerful now as they were then. There are quite a few videos that have set the creed’s words to music; we like this one in particular.

The Optimist Creed
I promise myself:
- To be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.
- To talk health, happiness, & prosperity to every person I meet.
- To make all my friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
- To look at the sunny side of everything & make my optimism come true.
- To think only of the best, to work only for the best, & to expect only the best.
- To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own.
- To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
- To wear a cheerful expression at all times & give a smile to every living creature I meet.
- To give so much time to improving myself that I have no time to criticize others.
- To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, & too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
- To think well of myself & to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.
- To live in the faith that the whole world is on my side, so long as I am true to the best that is in me.
Now go out and and spread some positivity. Feel free to share this information with the friends, family, and business associates that you care the most about on Facebook and Twitter.

Hi Sye,
I’m new here and I must say that I feel really glad to have found your site, particularly this post. I totally agree with you about the promises that we make to ourselves everyday. I find it really important to be conscious about these promises. The optimist creed sure can help a lot. I’ll loved it. I’ll read this everyday.
i am always optimist and wants everything from god…but god didn’t hear me….i am always trying to hard work and my god always hear me…that.s secret which i conclude from my life…….
Today most of people believe that there good luck is not with them, that why they face these problems and never gets success, but these are wrong because when they are happy they never said that its all due to their luck, “that’s my effort that’s why i achieve that”
I learn from my life that when you are true and sincere with your work, faith you should get success, but success and failures are the part of life. Optimist creed is very useful for me i share these tips to my friends also.
